HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35), who chairs the Senate Transportation Committee, released the following statement on the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation finalizing an agreement with Norfolk Southern Corporation to expand passenger rail service in western Pennsylvania:
“Today’s announcement keeps us on course to achieving what was said couldn’t be done – more rail service for western Pennsylvanians. This was one of my first priorities when elected and I am pleased that we are nearing completion of our goal. I am grateful to work alongside so many talented individuals in furtherance of this endeavor.”
