HARRISBURG – Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) announced that a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant totaling $500,000 was awarded to Cambria County for the final renovations of the Hyndman Area Health Center.
“The Hyndman Area Health Center is an important part of the Johnstown community, providing an assortment of health care services to those facing difficulties,” Langerholc said. “I am proud to support this necessary funding so the center can continue its mission.”
The funds will be used for final engineering and construction expenses for the renovation of the health center.
RACP is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Office of the Budget for the acquisition and construction of regional economic, cultural, civic, recreational and historical improvement projects. RACP projects are state funded and cannot obtain primary funding under other state programs.
