State Senator Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) will host a free senior expo for area residents from 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, May 9, at the East Hills Recreation Center, 101 Community College Way, in Johnstown.
Exhibitors from state, federal, county and local agencies will be on hand to provide information on programs and services available to senior citizens. The event will also include free health screenings, door prizes and light refreshments.
“I encourage area seniors to stop by the expo to learn more about many services and programs that may benefit them,” Langerholc said. “It’s an informative and enjoyable event that provides an opportunity for our neighbors to discover all of the resources available right here in our community.”
