Senate Committee to Vote Tuesday on Langerholc Resolution Calling for Review of Cambria County Emissions Testing Requirement

HARRISBURG – The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee is scheduled to consider a Senate resolution sponsored by Sen. Wayne Langerholc, Jr. (R-35) that calls for a comprehensive review of the potential impact of removing Cambria County from vehicle emissions testing requirements.

The Committee will meet at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17 in Room 8EB of the State Capitol in Harrisburg to vote on Senate Resolution 168. Cambria County is one of 25 Pennsylvania counties where vehicles are currently required to undergo emissions testing as part of annual safety inspections.
